AI tips, tools and strategy for marketers
This is the problem that AI tools solve for marketers just like you.

Becase let’s face it, marketing a visitor attraction is a joy and a mind-bending job at the same time.
You’re dealing with:

-
Seasonal peaks and footfall dips
-
A million content ideas (but never the time to make most of them fly)
-
Endless questions from visitors and increasing expectations too
-
A need to stand out in a saturated market - on a wet Tuesday morning in February.
AI tools (LLMs if we're being smart) can help you save hours each week, reduce mental load, and finally get to those projects you’ve been putting off. I'm talking properly help, not like the life-changing expectations you had of that new social media analytics tool which you swore was soo worth the money.
"I wanted to say thank you for your great AI sessions. I used your methods to search my competitors and the services they offer compared with mine. Turns out they're promoting things I do but forgot to tell anyone about. My website has been updated and I feel smug - thanks to you.
How AI tools can help marketers right this minute
🟣 Better Content, Faster

🟣 Insight-Led Campaigns
Don’t guess what your audience wants - use detailed prompts and deep research in ChatGPT or Perplexity to find out what people are searching for, what they love (and loathe), and where your content gaps are.
🟣 On-the-Fly Research
Need a list of top competitors or trending experience ideas? Customise and try this:
“You are a tourism expert specialising in visitor attractions in the UK. You are looking to quickly review the market surrounding your farm park in Essex. What are 3 emerging trends in immersive experiences for families in the UK?”
🟣 Automated Product Research

Tips for getting started using AI to improve your marketing
Here are my tips and tricks for getting more from your AI use and prompts.

🟣 Unlearn everything you're used to when it comes to prompting for a Google search which is very instructional, and start asking conversational questions instead.

🟣 Give your AI/LLM a role - soon you'll have a proper AI assistant so it's time to get used to training them to know what their expertise is / which vantage point they need to come at tasks from. For example 'you're a marketing expert with a background in visitor attractions and your focus is on creating content that will engage the family market'. You can make this really detailed.

🟣 Write brilliant prompts. AI models are changing by the day, and inbuilt prompting is really improving as LLMs get better and better and understanding the nuance and context of your questions. But make sure your prompts are really details and give as much of an illustration of what you are looking to achieve and why.

🟣 Always fact check everything - don't get lazy and assume or copy and paste anything. Ever.

🟣 Find the tools that you like before you invest - experiment with the different platforms and modes - there are hundreds that do different things well from research and insights to creative exploration and design. Have fun, play and explore.
